Question: If someone commits a sin and repents, is it wrong to continuously ask for forgiveness of that specific sin?

Answer: No, it is not wrong to continue to ask forgiveness for the same sin. In fact, it is recommended to always ask Allah to forgive that sin and all other sins, since no one knows if his repentance was accepted.
