Question: Can you state if a reverted muslim living with his non muslim parents and any one of them should die as non muslims (God forbid), what is allowed and not allowed in terms of funeral and being in the house etc. They are Hindus and if there is a different ruling for the mother as opposed to the father please state also.

Answer: In the case mentioned, one would not be allowed as a Muslim to be a part of any of the un Islamic rites that are done at the funeral. Being in the home is allowed, but one cannot participate in their prayers and worship etc.
