Question: What is the Islamic view on the topic of Artificial Insemination, since this is an option usually given to couples when the husband is not able to father a child with his wife?

Answer: Artificial insemination will only be permissible between the husband and the wife where normal pregnancy cannot take place. This means that the semen of only the husband can be placed in the uterus of the wife.
