Question: If gelatin was mistakenly used in butter and one makes butter bread and the hand that has the gelatin on it touches other things, like the handle of things to be taken from the oven, on the table or in the fridge, would these things become impure?

Answer: If any impure substance had touched the hand and then this hand touches other things which then causes the impurity to be on these things, then these would also become impure and unclean, and must be washed and cleaned properly before use. However, it is important for you to find out whether the gelatin you have asked about is from pig or any other product.
