Sexual intercourse with intended wife

Question: Can a person have sexual intercourse with his intended wife before marriage, if he knows that he will be marrying her?

Answer: No, you cannot have sexual intercourse with your intended wife. This is a grave sin which is known as fornication and it is totally forbidden (haram) in Islam. Even though you know that you will be marrying her, it is still considered to be fornication and hence, a grave sin in Islam.
