Birth of an abnormal child

Question: When a child is born abnormal, is it because of the doings of the parents or is it from Allaah?

Answer: Allah is the one who is the creator of life and the fashioner of the human body. Although there may be biological reasons for the abnormality of the child, everything is in the total care and decree of Allah. As such, this is the will of Allah and human beings have no control over it.
