Answer: Yes, there are certain colors that are deemed to be disliked for men to wear. Red colored clothing is considered to be disliked for men to wear as it has been recorded by Ahmad from the traditions of the Companions that the Prophet (s.a.s) prohibited them from wearing red.

Imam Tirmizi and Abu Dawood have also recorded the tradition of Abdullah bin Amr (r.a) who said ' A man came to the Prophet (s.a.s) wearing two red sheets and greeted the Prophet with salaams and the Prophet (s.a.s) did not respond to him (on account of his displeasure of seeing him with the red garments). Many scholars have further stated the it is disliked for a man to also wear safflower and saffron coloured clothing. All colors are permitted for women.
