Shaving and naming of newborn

Question: The naming and shaving of a newborn's head is done 7 days after birth. Do you check seven days after the birth date or check the birth date and do it 6 days after?

Answer: The traditions of the Prophet (s.a.s) regarding this, mentions that it is done on the seventh day. As such, the day on which the child is born would be the first day. In this manner you will ceck to see when the seventh day will be and then do the acts which you have mentioned.
